Locations: Manchester (must be willing to travel to client sites throughout the UK on an ad hoc basis)

Salary: Competitive salary and package (depending on level of experience)

You’ll be expected to responsibly adopt AI‑assisted engineering practices—such as GitHub Copilot, GitLab Duo, and similar tools—for code generation, testing, documentation, and analysis, while understanding model limitations, protecting client data, and improving delivery quality and speed through pragmatic automation.

You’ll help teams implement pragmatic observability—logging, metrics, and distributed tracing—with actionable alerting, and you’ll contribute to (or lead) incident response and post-incident reviews that drive learning and measurable improvements.

Strong understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS/ Azure) and platform core services.

Strong hands-on experience in DevSecOps engineering, supporting cloud-native platforms at scale.

Experience with observability and monitoring tools, particularly Dynatrace (or similar tools), including alerting, dashboards, and root-cause analysis.

Exposure to AIOps practices, leveraging automation and intelligence for proactive issue detection and incident reduction.
