ROLE OVERVIEW:

This role oversees the delivery and project management of all work going through the Brand Global team. They are responsible for ensuring that projects hit required milestones and gateways, mitigating and escalating when needed both internally and to the client. Working in partnership with the Business Director and Account leads to ensure successful delivery to JLR. The Programme Manager is a key stakeholder for forecasting as part of quarterly business planning, alongside managing a team of project managers.

The Programme Manager is key to ensure the integration of all channels through end-to-end management of a programme. They work closely with the Senior Launch Operation Managers to be aware of upcoming nameplate projects while also working with Resource Directors to ensure teams are aware of when work will hit across departments.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

PRIMARY FOCUS – The Programme Manager will:

  • Take ownership of project delivery for Brand Global projects, escalating risks to senior ACCN and JLR client stakeholders and mitigating accordingly.
  • Create and manage project plans. Report, track and manage project milestones and gateways.
  • Work with the wider Accenture Jaguar Land Rover Team including Account Management, Resourcing, Project Management, and Production teams to communicate key deadlines and future project forecasts.
  • Lead weekly Brief Triage meetings as part of the Global team.
  • Input into Demand Capacity forecast and own the Brand Global programme plan.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT – The Programme Manager will:

  • Lead the project management and delivery of Brand Global projects.
  • Be a key stakeholder for Demand Capacity forecasting and sharing of projects with resourcing teams.
  • Manage and update reporting dashboards that provide senior stakeholders with an overview of project health by milestone/gateway.
  • Attend and steer client/agency briefings, becoming the β€œgo-to person” for Brand Global timelines.
  • Manage project milestones and gateways in accordance with the roadmap and RACI principles.
  • Escalate risks to delivery or project health, providing mitigation plans when required.

ACCOUNTABILITY – The Programme Manager will:

  • Own the delivery for Brand Global projects.
  • Own the Brand Global Project Plans, identifying project steps and gateways.
  • Monitor out-of-scope situations and agree on appropriate actions with the JLR Delivery Lead.
  • Set clear expectations and work with the team to deliver on Accenture Song and JLR priorities and deliverables.
  • Proactively identify risks to delivery, escalating when necessary to avoid commercial risk and impacts to SLAs.
  • Manage risk and provide mitigation plans to limit Stage Gate and deliverables impact.
  • Own and manage the JLR Global Triage meeting.
  • Work with Resource Directors to ensure accurate resource allocation and escalate overcapacity issues accordingly.

COLLABORATION – The Programme Manager will:

  • Be a key stakeholder for the QBR Demand Forecast process, inputting into timelines and project launches across the agency.
  • Support and contribute to the wider team and agency output.
  • Keep all relevant departments informed about project status.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships across Accenture Song as the go-to person for project timelines.
  • Run integrated brand status meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of project management experience.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Agency experience, especially in E2E advertising campaigns including brand campaigns, is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a complex workload.
  • Confident client-facing skills and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Workfront (SynOps for Marketing) is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong focus on project management and operations.
  • Experience in mitigation planning and programme management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with Jaguar Land Rover, is beneficial.
