What you’ll do:

  • Develop attraction strategies to build diverse, high-quality apprenticeship pipelines.
  • Build partnerships with schools, colleges, universities and external organisations to drive engagement and awareness.
  • Deliver attraction events, presentations and networking opportunities to strengthen employer brand presence.
  • Manage candidates through the full recruitment journey, delivering a positive and inclusive experience.
  • Conduct high-volume interviewing and assessment activity during peak periods.
  • Track recruitment performance, reporting on insights, trends and risks to support hiring decisions.
  • Manage budgets and ensure accurate forecasting and tracking.
  • Stay informed on market trends and identify opportunities to improve attraction and hiring outcomes.
  • Contribute to wider Early Talent initiatives, process improvements and best practice.

Candidate & Stakeholder Management:

  • Support onboarding and pre-joining activity to maintain apprentice engagement.
  • Build trusted stakeholder relationships across the business.
  • Deliver targeted outreach activity both virtually and in person.
  • Strengthen employer brand and expand early talent networks.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience recruiting within Early Talent and Apprenticeship programmes, with strong understanding of attraction, selection and conversion strategies in competitive markets.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK apprenticeship landscape, including funding rules, programme requirements and compliance.
  • Experience building partnerships with schools, colleges, universities and external organisations to develop diverse, high-quality talent pipelines.
  • A track record of delivering attraction and engagement activity, including events, presentations and outreach initiatives that strengthen employer brand and candidate engagement.
  • Experience managing high-volume end-to-end recruitment processes, including interviewing and delivering an excellent candidate experience.
  • Strong analytical capability, using recruitment data and insights to track performance, identify trends and support hiring decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for creating opportunities for early career talent and driving successful apprenticeship hiring outcomes.
