Leads the build phase of technology initiatives by aligning business, product, architecture and engineering stakeholders, ensuring technical specifications are delivery-ready, and driving the build team to execute against agreed scope, quality and timelines.
Owns end-to-end mobile architecture across iOS, Android, and cross-platform stacks, designing for long-term evolution, modularity, and parallel team delivery.
Translates business and functional requirements into scalable mobile architectures, covering navigation, state management, modularisation, and complex multi-journey flows.
Defines and enforces key non-functional requirements including performance, security, resilience, offline capability, and observability.
Establishes core mobile architecture patterns and state management approaches (e.g., Clean / Layered, Unidirectional Data Flow) suited to large-scale applications.
Designs robust mobile-to-backend integration patterns (REST/GraphQL, BFFs, API versioning) with a focus on performance, stability, and evolvability.
Embeds security‑by‑design, performance optimisation, and offline‑first strategies (caching, sync, recovery, conflict handling) across the mobile stack.
Ensures architectures are CI/CD‑ready, supporting automated testing, release pipelines, and app‑store constraints, with consistent cross‑cutting patterns (configuration, feature flags, error handling).
Proven experience leading technical delivery for complex digital, software, platform or enterprise technology initiatives.
Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, including requirements, design, build, testing and release.
Ability to engage credibly with architects and engineering teams while coordinating effectively with business and product stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, planning and dependency management capability.
Experience overseeing technical specifications and converting high‑level requirements into build‑ready delivery inputs.
