Role Overview
Experienced Senior Java Engineer with hands-on experience of the ICON IPF Payments framework to support the delivery of large-scale payment systems. This role involves hands-on development within modern, cloud-based architectures and close collaboration with major banking clients.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java 11, Spring Boot, and microservices-based architectures
- Strong experience working in AWS cloud environments
- Solid experience with Apache Kafka and asynchronous messaging
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 20022 payments, including payment types and schemes
- 5-10 Years as a Java engineer
- Hands-on experience implementing ICON IPF
- Proven experience working closely with major banking clients
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desirable:
- At least 18 months experience of working on ICON platform
- IPF Certification in addition to hands-on experience
