Overview
In this role, you will redesign FP&A services across corporate, business-facing finance, and GBS/GCC to create a scalable, standardised planning and insight capability. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to balance governance, business proximity, and accountability while embedding data, automation and AI. The position sits within Accenture’s Finance Reinvention practice, contributing to value-led operating models for enterprise finance. You’ll lead workshops, shape target designs, and guide adoption in multi-country or matrixed environments. This is an opportunity to influence how finance supports strategic decisions at scale.
Responsibilities
- Assess current FP&A operating model and service portfolio, including governance, cycles, capacity and data dependencies
- Design target FP&A operating model with clear roles, decision rights, and service catalogues
- Define interactions across central FP&A, business units, GBS/GCC and external providers
- Specify standard FP&A activities and performance measures (planning, budgeting, forecasting, KPI frameworks)
- Evaluate data, technology, automation, and AI implications for the future model
- Translate operating-model decisions into requirements for EPM, ERP, analytics and AI capabilities
- Build business case, benefits, and roadmap with adoption and value-realisation measures
- Lead FP&A operating-model workstream, manage workshops, risks, and deliverables
Key requirements
- 4+ years in FP&A, finance transformation, GBS/GCC or consulting with leadership of a significant FP&A workstream
- Strong depth in strategic planning, budgeting, rolling forecasts, scenario planning, KPI frameworks, variance and root-cause analysis
- Experience analysing activities and distributing work across corporate finance, BU finance, GBS/GCC and Centres of Excellence
- Understanding of data, ERP, EPM, analytics, workflow and AI in FP&A contexts
- Ability to lead workshops, design operating-models, and manage stakeholder engagement
- Experience in Consumer Goods & Services, Utilities or Energy sectors is a plus
- Familiarity with multi-country or matrixed organisations
- Recognised finance qualification such as CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent, or substantial FP&A experience
