We are seeking experienced Finance Innovators and problem solvers to join our growing Finance Transformation practice in Dublin. As part of this team, you will advise CFOs on their transition from traditional custodians of Finance to Digital ambassadors and strategic enablers.

The role of Finance within global organisations is rapidly changing, with the function becoming a future centric, innovative business partner, enabled by leveraging latest technologies in the form of automation and Artificial Intelligence. As a Consultant within our practice you will work at the leading edge of Finance Transformation to strategise and implement multi-disciplined, market-relevant projects to unlock value for our clients.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Work across a variety of industries with leading global organisations (Banking/Financial Services, Public Sector, Utilities, Healthcare, Consumer Goods, Retail, Life Sciences, Industrial and Automotive), to design, implement and deliver projects such as:
    • Digital Finance Transformation: Transform the core finance function, from strategic vision through value realisation using a data-driven approach, into a more efficient and effective capability through the design and implementation of leading practice end-to-end process and change interventions that integrate strategy, technology and people; enabled by cloud-based platform solutions, sustainable Finance methods, global business services and intelligent automation roadmaps.
    • Intelligent Platforms: Partner with organisations from vision to value, to become an intelligent enterprise by transforming the digital core that is enabled by major platform players e.g. SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.
    • Enterprise Value: Achieve full transparency on all operating spend and explore how the money can be spent more wisely to add value and help drive growth, based on three key components: transparency, accountability and agility.
    • Enterprise Planning & Analysis: Develop integrated, cloud-enabled, planning and enterprise performance analysis capabilities that will enhance strategic insights and accelerate business decisions. Re-invent business partnering and decision support capabilities through adoption of new technologies and collaboration tools for scenario planning in a volatile world.

What we're looking for

  • You should have a strong finance background and have experience in the analysis, definition, design and deployment of optimised finance through the latest design thinking/agile methods.
  • Strong experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Design and implementation of future Finance operating models
    • Design and implementation of optimised and digitised Finance processes for Finance - Process Strategy, Process Design, Process Monitoring (KPI Design / Reporting), Process Transformation (through systems) and Continuous Improvement for processes such as RTR, PTP, OTC, FP&A, Treasury and Tax
    • Delivering process optimisation and organisation design in a shared service environment
    • Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) and Sustainability experience across following areas: ESG Diagnostic and assessment, ESG Policy, Assurance/Control and KPI Design and ESG Data capture, Analytics and Reporting assessment
    • Demonstrate practical design and delivery of latest Cloud ERP solutions (e.g. SAP S/4Hana, Oracle Cloud, etc.)
    • Practical knowledge of the latest technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation and Analytics) and the application of these in a Finance context
    • Enterprise cost reduction through methods such as Zero-Based Budgeting
  • What other qualifications or skills do I need?
    • Excellent degree results
    • Professional Finance or Accounting Qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with 1st time passes desirable
    • 2 - 3 years experience, in Banking/Financial Services, Utilities, Healthcare, Consumer Goods, Retail, Life Sciences, Industrial or Automotive
    • Previous experience in Management Consulting is desired
    • Previous experience using or implementing some of the latest Digital Finance and cloud technologies (SAPS/4Hana, Oracle Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, Anaplan, RPA & AI applications, visualisation tools)
    • Previous experience designing or delivering large-scale transformation through ERP or shared service transitions
    • Experience in design thinking/agile project delivery methods
    • Strong problem-solving, statistical and analytical skills
    • Extremely strong collaboration, planning, influencing, prioritisation and time management skills
    • Proven project management capabilities
    • Practical experience supporting and/or facilitating design thinking workshops
    • Ability to meet travel requirements, when required
