Overview
In this role you advise on finance transformation, working directly with client finance teams to redesign processes, enterprise structure, and the underlying technology. You’ll operate across the finance-technology landscape with a platform-agnostic view, contributing to platform selection and value cases. You’ll engage in design-thinking, agile delivery, and AI-enabled ways of working to improve CFO outcomes. This role sits within Finance Reinvention Partner, focused on driving stronger performance, insight, and control through technology-enabled finance. You will grow quickly by tackling real programmes with experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities
- Lead design and discovery workshops, structure business requirements, and draft agreed action plans
- Design and improve core finance processes (Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, Acquire-to-Retire) and support fit-to-standard/fit-gap work
- Develop and document enterprise structure and chart of accounts, ensuring downstream impact is understood
- Engage in platform-agnostic advisory, contribute to technology selection, vendor assessment, and ROI analysis
- Discuss and embed AI-enabled finance practices, focusing on data, controls, and process changes
- Manage day-to-day client relationships, scope ownership, timelines, and stakeholder communication
- Contribute to target operating model design for post-platform landing and shared services
- Operate in design-thinking and agile delivery styles to co-create with clients in the room
Key requirements
- Experience across more than one ERP/finance platform (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday)
- Experience leading workshops and discovery sessions with client finance teams
- Involvement in technology selection or vendor assessment during live transformations
- Understanding of enterprise structure, chart-of-accounts design, and downstream impact
- Hands-on exposure to AI or agentic tooling in finance or delivery settings
- Fluency in design-thinking and agile delivery methods
- Awareness of controls, intercompany, and tax considerations in finance design
- Professional finance or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Ownership and follow-through
- Strong client relationship and credibility across management levels
- Comfort with ambiguity and complex environments
- ERP/finance platforms: SAP, Oracle, Workday
- AI in finance processes (reconciliations, close tasks, intercompany matching, forecasting, controls monitoring)
- Vendor assessment and technology selection
