As a Workday Finance Architect:
You'll be part of a team of advisory professionals who deliver more than just technology. From rapid deployments to complete transformations, you'll provide integrated, cloud-based ERP solutions that put organizations on the fast track to a better way to work.
As the senior design authority on our largest Workday Financials transformations, you will own the end-to-end solution architecture across the full Financials footprint.
In this role, you will help our clients get the most value out of their Workday investment by:
- Owning the overall Workday Financials solution architecture across one or more large-scale, multi-country engagements, ensuring design coherence across the Financial Data Model, accounting and reporting
- Setting the design standards for the programme and acting as the escalation and design-authority point for consultants and clients alike
- Acting as the primary design authority for financials-related functionality within Workday
- Analysing complex business requirements and translating them into robust, scalable Workday Financials solutions
- Defining and governing the solution design for Workday Financials modules such as the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Financial Reporting
- Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal controls across the design
- Establishing design standards and leading practices for the programme and its delivery teams
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and system optimisation
- Directing the implementation and enhancement of Workday Financials solutions for end clients
- Managing and guiding multi-disciplinary teams of Workday Financials, Integration and Data consultants
- Active involvement in (pre-)sales activities to shape the right offering for our prospective clients
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
- Several full-cycle Workday Financials implementations, owning solution design end-to-end
- A strong finance transformation track record
- Deep expertise across Workday Financials (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Contracts-to-Cash), including solution design and reporting
- A design-authority / architecture background, able to define and govern Workday Financials design standards across large programmes
- Familiarity with accounting principles, financial processes and compliance requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Fluency in English
- Ability to meet client travel requirements as needed, and efficiently manage virtual teams and client interactions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can clearly articulate complex messages and requirements
Artificial Intelligence and the future of Workday delivery:
Accenture is embedding Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI across the Workday delivery lifecycle, and this role sits at the centre of that shift. As a Financials Solution Architect you will have the opportunity to:
- Shape solution architectures that make use of Workday's native AI and machine-learning capabilities to drive smarter finance processes
- Apply Accenture's GenAI-enabled accelerators to speed up design, testing and documentation
