The Programme at Glance

Take your next step with Accenture’s Consulting Social Impact Week, a unique opportunity to build your confidence, gain practical experience and discover what a career in consulting could look like. Across the week, you’ll tackle a real-world consulting challenge, develop essential employability skills, and connect with professionals from across Accenture. You’ll gain practical experience, build relationships, and develop skills that can support you in taking your next step towards employment. In Consulting, we help organisations solve problems and make positive changes. That could mean improving how a business works, using data, technology, and AI to address a challenge, or helping turn new ideas into practical solutions.

What you’ll learn

  • Gain hands-on insight into how Accenture uses technology and new ideas to help clients solve real-world challenges.
  • Work alongside experienced consultants and mentors on a practical challenge, developing your teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Build essential employability skills through tailored workshops, 1:1 mock interviews and personalised application feedback, helping you prepare for future opportunities with Accenture or elsewhere.
  • If you meet the relevant eligibility criteria, you may also have the opportunity to progress to the assessment stage for our London Consulting Degree Apprenticeship.
  • As recognition of your commitment and development, all participants who complete the programme will receive a formal certificate of completion, recognising the skills and experience gained throughout the week.

What you’ll need

We’re looking for curious, motivated people who are ready to learn, try something new and gain experience of the world of work. You don’t need previous consulting or work experience. To take part, you’ll need to:

  • Not currently be in education, employment, or training.
  • Be interested in finding out more about consulting and open to developing new skills.
  • Have achieved 112 UCAS points at A-level (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English, at grades 9–4 (A–C).
  • Don’t meet the academic requirements? A limited number of places may also be available for participants who would benefit from the programme’s employability experience, giving you the opportunity to build your confidence, develop workplace skills and gain practical experience to support your next step into employment.

Your Next Steps

Our Social Impact Week is about helping you build confidence, gain experience, and develop skills that you can take with you into whatever comes next. That next step might be a job, further training, or another career opportunity. There may also be the opportunity for eligible participants to progress to the assessment stage for our London Consulting Degree Apprenticeship. Securing a place on our apprenticeship would give you the opportunity to work towards a BSc in Project Manager over three years at the University of East London while gaining hands-on experience, developing your skills and building your career in Consulting. Whatever your next step, you’ll leave Social Impact Week with new skills, experience, and connections to help you move forward.

The Consulting Social Impact Week will take place from Monday 30th November to Friday 4th December 2026, from 9:00am to 5:30pm each day. You’ll need to be available for the full duration of the programme. The first and final days will take place at our Fenchurch Street office in London, with the remaining days delivered virtually. Travel expenses will be covered for the required office days, and if needed, we can provide a laptop and internet dongle to help you take part from home. Places on the programme are limited, so we encourage you to apply early. Applications close on Sunday 22nd November, 2026, although we may close applications earlier if the role is filled, so we encourage early applications.
