Solution Architects are responsible for designing cohesive, end-to-end solutions that span multiple systems and capabilities across the product lifecycle. This includes solutions supporting product design, manufacturing, supply chain, and digital customer engagement. The role focuses on integrated solution design, ensuring that business processes, digital capabilities, and underlying platforms work together as a coherent whole. Architects in this role work closely with senior architects and delivery teams to shape solutions that are technically sound, scalable, and aligned to business outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Contribute to the design of integrated, business-aligned solutions, considering how multiple systems and capabilities work together end to end.
  • Support architectural decision-making by analysing solution-level trade-offs across scope, cost, timelines, quality, and operational impact.
  • Apply enterprise architecture principles and technology standards within an agreed solution context.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into clear, implementable solution designs.
  • Define how systems collaborate within a broader solution, focusing on capability alignment, data flow, and user journeys, rather than low-level integration detail.
  • Apply modern digital and cloud-native architectural patterns, including microservices, APIs, platform services, and event-driven approaches, to enable flexibility and scalability.
  • Contribute to the design of agentic and AI-enabled solutions, understanding how autonomous agents, orchestration layers, and data services support business processes.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and testing teams to ensure solution designs are technically feasible and delivery-ready.

5-7 years' experience in solution design, technical design, or architecture-related roles. Proven experience designing integrated solutions that span multiple systems or platforms. Solid understanding of modern digital architectures, including microservices, APIs, and cloud-native principles. Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent). Conceptual understanding of agentic solutions, AI-enabled workflows, and data-driven architectures. Familiarity with DevOps concepts and non-functional considerations such as performance, scalability, and resilience. Ability to communicate solution designs clearly to technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Exposure

  • Exposure to any of the following industries: communications, retail, financial services.
  • Working knowledge (or exposure) to PLM platforms, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), or product-centric landscapes.
  • Experience contributing to digital solutions, such as customer portals, mobile applications, or eCommerce platforms.
  • Awareness of architectural standards, design reviews, and structured solution assurance processes.
  • Relevant cloud, architecture, or integration certifications (nice to have).
