Overview
In this Senior Developer role, you will serve as the technical authority for Power Platform delivery, shaping solution quality and governance on enterprise programmes. You’ll work with Delivery Managers and Solution Architects to deliver complex platform solutions while starting to mentor junior developers and take on line-management duties. The role sits in Accenture MBG UK, offering hands-on development with leadership responsibilities in a top Microsoft practice. You’ll tackle architecture, ALM, and governance topics, driving value for demanding clients.

Responsibilities
- Design, build and deliver complex Power Platform solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages and Dataverse
- Lead technical delivery across one or more workstreams with end-to-end ownership
- Develop advanced solutions using PCF, custom connectors, and complex Dataverse models
- Architect and implement ALM pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and Power Platform Build Tools
- Build and maintain integrations with D365 CE, M365, Azure services and third-party platforms via REST APIs, OData, Azure Service Bus and Logic Apps
- Ensure solutions adhere to Well-Architected Framework and Accenture delivery standards
- Lead design reviews, code reviews, and architecture assurance sessions
- Establish Power Platform coding standards and governance across the team
- Manage CoE Toolkit configurations, including environment strategy and DLP policies
- Provide technical risk assessments and mitigation recommendations to Delivery Managers and Solution Architects
- Evaluate emerging Power Platform capabilities including AI Builder, Copilot Studio and Copilot integrations
- Line manage 2–5 junior/mid-level developers and mentor them
- Onboard new team members and promote delivery standards across the community
- Contribute to MBG UK Power Platform community through knowledge sharing and enablement sessions
- Support recruitment of Power Platform talent in collaboration with Talent Acquisition
- Engage with client technical leads and stakeholders to present designs and prototypes
- Lead technical workshops, requirements discovery and solution walkthroughs
- Support pre-sales activities including technical solutioning and effort estimation
- Participate in client governance forums as senior technical voice for Power Platform delivery
- Champion test-driven development and performance testing for Power Platform solutions
- Drive tooling improvements and reusable components; contribute to Accenture IP with accelerators and templates
- Identify and prototype AI-augmented development capabilities including Copilot in Power Apps and AI Builder models

- Core Power Platform development in a consulting/SI environment
- Expert Power Apps (model-driven and canvas), Power Automate, Dataverse
- PCF development with TypeScript/React and managed solutions
- Strong Power Fx, DAX, JavaScript/TypeScript for web resources and PCF
- Dataverse data modelling, relationships, rules, and virtual tables
- Power Pages development including Liquid templates and security
- ALM/DevOps with CI/CD via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, Power Platform Build Tools, PAC CLI
- REST/OData integrations, Dataverse Web API, custom connectors, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus
- Azure services in Power Platform: Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Entra ID
- Dynamics 365 CE customization concepts (plugins, XrmToolBox)
- Enterprise governance frameworks: DLP, CoE Toolkit, environment tiering
- Security/compliance knowledge: Azure AD CA, Dataverse RBAC, auditing
- Technical design documentation and data flow/integration specs
- Rationale for licensing and capacity planning for enterprise deployments
- Professional services/consulting experience with client-facing deliverables
- Strong analytical/problem-solving and stakeholder communication
- Experience delivering in regulated industries and with prey-to-purchase sales support
