In this Data Team Lead role, you drive data and AI initiatives within Accenture’s Data & AI practice in London. You’ll lead enterprise data platforms and transformation programmes, engaging with C-suite stakeholders to shape data strategy and roadmaps. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, ensure delivery quality and governance, and foster innovation using cutting-edge Microsoft data solutions. Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise data and AI strategy, architecture and transformation initiatives
  • Own delivery of large, complex programmes including scope, budget, timelines, risks and outcomes
  • Lead multidisciplinary data and technology teams and develop senior technical talent
  • Engage with C-suite and senior client stakeholders to shape data strategy and transformation roadmaps
  • Establish data governance, security, quality and regulatory best practices
  • Drive innovation across Data, Cloud and AI and support solution shaping and business development
  • Provide executive-level reporting and governance for programme outcomes
  • Lead architecture reviews, technology selection and technical assurance on major programmes
  • Mentor developers and foster team growth while ensuring appropriate data architecture patterns

Key requirements

  • Extensive experience leading enterprise Microsoft Data platforms and transformation programmes
  • Strong expertise across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data services, Databricks/Synapse and Power BI
  • Strong understanding of data strategy, architecture, governance, security and AI
  • Proven experience managing large-scale delivery, budgets, risks and senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership of large, multidisciplinary technology teams
  • Strong consulting, client advisory and business development experience
  • Excellent executive communication and influencing skills
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and large-scale transformation programmes
  • Strong client-facing, communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Experience in consulting, systems integration or large enterprise environments is desirable
