In this role you will lead strategic, integrated medical communications programmes for healthcare clients, shaping client partnerships and delivering measurable impact. You’ll steer multidisciplinary teams and connect medical, strategy, digital and engagement work to solve complex healthcare challenges. The role sits at the intersection of science, creativity and technology to improve patient outcomes. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to grow accounts while maintaining exceptional client experience and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities
- Build long-term client partnerships and act as a trusted adviser
- Own strategic account planning and programme delivery to drive meaningful impact
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across medical, strategy, digital and engagement
- Anticipate client needs and identify opportunities to strengthen programmes
- Drive account growth by connecting clients with Song Life capabilities
- Bridge clients and delivery teams to ensure strategic intent and operational excellence
- Guide teams through complexity, prioritise effectively and deliver with confidence
- Foster collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement within the team
- Use data and audience understanding to shape integrated engagement programmes
- Lead client discussions and represent Song Life with professionalism
- Mentor junior colleagues and share best practices
- Support business development through proposals and opportunity identification
Key requirements
- Significant healthcare agency experience with pharmaceutical regulations, compliance frameworks and industry codes of practice
- Proven ability to build, grow and sustain client relationships at multiple levels
- Experience leading complex programmes with multiple stakeholders and partners
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Strong commercial awareness including budgeting, forecasting and profitability management
- Strategic account management and programme planning
- Exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to identify opportunities for organic growth and translate into client value
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and solving problems in fast-paced environments
- Balancing strategic thinking with operational execution
- Experience developing and mentoring junior team members
