Overview
You will lead defined workstreams within complex Life Sciences R&D transformation programmes, blending business and technical delivery. In a collaborative, cross-functional environment, you drive governance, stakeholder engagement and a clear delivery plan. Your work accelerates data-driven, patient-centric R&D outcomes and supports growth of Accenture's Life Sciences R&D practice. This role offers exposure to senior client leadership, multi-disciplinary teams and opportunities to shape propositions and methodologies.

Responsibilities
- Deliver defined workstreams or projects within multi-workstream R&D transformation and technical programmes
- Manage trusted client relationships with managers and senior managers, including status discussions
- Coordinate and develop junior colleagues supporting the workstream
- Governance, reporting, risk and issue management for the workstream
- Translate requirements into executable solutions and coordinate delivery across business, technology, data, architecture and third-party teams
- Support technical programme management to align business outcomes with technology delivery and operations readiness
- Provide day-to-day leadership to junior team members through coaching and mentoring
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve client problems
- Contribute to business development through proposals, pitches and shaping new work
- Develop propositions, methodologies, assets, thought leadership and knowledge sharing to grow the R&D practice
Key requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering complex transformation or technology programmes in Pharmaceuticals or Life Sciences
- Solid understanding of Life Sciences R&D with experience in one or more R&D areas
- Experience coordinating across business, technology, data and third-party teams
- Strong project and programme delivery capabilities (planning, governance, risk/issue management, resourcing, stakeholder communication)
- Structured problem-solving and advisory mindset with ability to develop practical recommendations
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage with senior client stakeholders
- Experience coaching or leading junior team members
- Strong technology and data fluency; familiarity with cloud, data, digital platforms and AI enabling R&D reinvention
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset and interest in client development and practice growth
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree advantageous
