AS A LEAD WORKDAY PROCURE TO PAY AND EXPENSES:
You will be part of a consulting team that delivers far more than technology. From rapid deployments to full transformations, you will provide integrated, cloud‑based ERP solutions that enable organizations to adopt a more effective way of working.
In this role, you will help clients maximize the value of their Workday investment by:
- Participating in all phases of the Workday Procure to Pay implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Participating in all phases of the Workday Expenses implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment
- Working with clients to understand business needs, translate them into Workday configurations, and provide expert guidance on best practices
- Configuring Workday modules to meet business requirements related to financial accounting, statutory reporting, and country‑specific needs in global Workday Financials deployments
- Identifying strategies, risks, and options, and recommending approaches and mitigation measures to meet functional and client needs
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams (finance, IT, project management) to ensure seamless integration of Procure to Pay and/or Expenses processes with other modules and systems
- Providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to develop their skills
- Advising clients on industry standards and best practices
- Presenting design options through prototyping
- Understanding and applying Workday and Accenture Workday methodologies
- Providing progress updates to the stream lead
- Demonstrating strong client and stakeholder management skills to achieve project objectives
Ideally, you have strong financial experience and several years of experience working on the Workday platform, either as a consultant or in a client role, leading and driving the Workday agenda. You are motivated, solution‑oriented, and able to work independently to find answers. You have experience managing and communicating with diverse stakeholders. You are results‑driven, persuasive, and able to sell your ideas.
We are looking for experience in the following areas:
- Workday Financials certification in Procure to Pay and/or Strategic Sourcing. Additional Workday certifications are an advantage, particularly Workday Expenses
- Strong experience in financial transformation projects
- Experience with multiple full‑cycle Workday implementations
- Solid understanding of Procure to Pay processes and best practices
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (Finance, Business Administration, or Information Systems)
- Fluency in English
- Ability to meet client travel requirements when necessary and to effectively manage a virtual team as well as client interactions
- Ability to thrive in a diverse and fast‑paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply logical thinking to problem solving
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines despite competing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex messages and requirements
- Strong motivation to work with clients and deliver an exceptional client experience
