In the role you will...
- Craft
Contribute to content design activities including client workshops, user interviews, and creative brainstorms. Apply UX fundamentals such as user needs, journeys, tasks, flows, interaction patterns and accessibility when shaping content. Create content and key content design deliverables: content style guides, content matrices, copy decks, and presentation decks. Create and hand over content requirements based on relevant business objectives, technical information, and design considerations. Support the definition of information architecture and content structure at the project level. - Project
Contribute to product design projects from discovery through delivery, supporting activities such as journey mapping, concept development, prototyping, testing and iteration. Work closely with UX/UI designers and researchers to align content with journeys, wireframes, prototypes and design systems. Support design research activities at a project level, helping turn insight and feedback into clearer content and experience decisions. - Client
Work in collaboration with client teams to understand the user, business, and brand context. Present content and experience design thinking clearly, explaining the rationale behind decisions and showing how they support user needs, business goals and design intent. Share content best practices in pitch efforts and client meetings to support new business development efforts. - Community
Attend and help plan studio and community events and workshops.
Requirements
- Experience in translating business and customer requirements into compelling content across different touchpoints.
- Strong understanding of accessibility guidelines and experience in designing to industry-recognised standards.
- Experience supporting online and offline workshops and interviews to inform or validate design decisions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and partners, verbally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of the content landscape: content design, content strategy, information architecture, and content operations.
- Understanding of human-centred design, design thinking mindset and approaches.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multi-disciplinary teams.

Previous work using GDS (Government Design System) is very desirable. Show curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, including how they may support content design, research synthesis, prototyping and responsible experience design.
