Overview

In this role you help clients design and implement intercompany finance processes within large-scale transformation programs. You’ll work closely with client finance teams across SAP, BlackLine, and related platforms, guiding the design through go-live. You’ll develop deep expertise in intercompany accounting, transfer-pricing, and R2R close while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. The role blends finance judgment with AI-enabled delivery to drive faster, better-controlled financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver your scope within intercompany design and reconciliation workstreams
  • Contribute to design decisions and manage risks within your area
  • Lead or participate in workshops, status updates, and client relationship building with finance, tax and treasury
  • Align intercompany processes with group reporting and consolidation requirements
  • Support delivery of intercompany and transfer-pricing work on complex programmes
  • Engage with AI-enabled delivery approaches and tool orchestration to improve outcomes

Key requirements

  • Strong intercompany accounting expertise: cross-company postings, AR/AP, invoicing, clearing, netting, settlement, and intercompany close/reconciliation
  • Solid R2R understanding and how intercompany flows map to numbers and consolidation
  • Platform familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance, BlackLine (Intercompany and close automation) or equivalent
  • Experience in multi-entity or multi-country programmes and ability to work across platforms
  • Ability to run workshops, manage client expectations, and build credible stakeholder relationships
  • Structured problem-solving, clear communication under pressure
  • Qualified finance or accounting accreditation (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred
