This role will work within the Midlands Delivery Centre team, serving a global automotive client. The team creates brand communications, delivering award-winning creative and marketing effectiveness across end-to-end customer communications.
The Role: Reporting to the Content Team Lead, the Content Editor is responsible for creating and updating the content used across client websites and tools. Working alongside designers and user experience architects, the Content Editor will work within the CMS to create and update content in line with the briefing documentation. They will be responsible for creating new and editing existing content. Through this, they are expected to be an expert in their role, knowing how the backend of the CMS connects to the front end and how content links together. They should also apply this knowledge alongside an understanding of digital best practice to deliver the best client and customer experience. This role would suit an individual with digital prowess and ideally previous content management experience who is looking to work in a creative agency environment.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Following the brief, update client websites and tools with the latest product information, advertising campaigns, photography and films.
- Ensure that all content has been added correctly following brand guidelines, checking across different browsers and devices before it is sent to a QA team.
- Work in a methodical manner to ensure created content has no negative impact on live sites and is built right first time.
- Understand and carefully follow the process to ensure content is built efficiently and with minimal risk to embargo breaks.
- Participate in project briefings, liaise as appropriate with the delivery lead if more clarification is required to deliver work.
- Troubleshoot content that does not display correctly and escalate any issues that cannot be resolved to the Content Team Lead.

Necessary Skills and Experience: Full training will be provided but prior experience is preferred, particularly Sharepoint or Adobe Experience Manager.
