Overview

In this role you will shape and lead AI-enabled transformations across data engineering, platform engineering and data product delivery. You’ll engage senior clients and build trusted partnerships to define strategies, roadmaps and operating models for enterprise-scale AI initiatives. You drive the commercial agenda, governance, and risk management while growing multidisciplinary teams and accelerating delivery. This is a chance to influence how clients adopt AI as a fundamental business capability and to advance Accenture’s Data & AI practice at scale. You will be at the frontier of AI-enabled data platforms, pipelines and products, delivering measurable business value.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead AI-enabled transformation programmes spanning data engineering, platform engineering and data product delivery
  • Provide senior technical leadership across complex, multi-disciplinary engagements in one or more capability areas
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders (CTOs, CDOs, Heads of Data/Platform Engineering)
  • Shape client technology strategies and roadmaps including AI-native platform design and data product operating models
  • Drive AI-SDLC adoption and AI-assisted engineering at scale with defined operating models and governance
  • Design operating models for agentic and human-in-the-loop data and platform operations
  • Lead the commercial agenda including opportunity shaping, bids, pricing and contract discussions
  • Govern AI risk, security, compliance and responsible AI within delivery
  • Develop propositions, thought leadership and reusable delivery assets
  • Build and lead large multidisciplinary teams and contribute to capability development and knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to growth of the Data & AI practice through recruitment and accelerators

Key requirements

  • Deep technical expertise in AI Platform Engineering, AI Pipelines or Data Products
  • Proven track record leading enterprise-scale data and AI programmes from strategy to production
  • Senior stakeholder engagement with C-level technology leaders
  • Commercial experience across large technology programmes
  • AI strategy and transformation leadership
  • Agentic AI and operating model design at enterprise scale
  • Responsible AI and AI governance familiarity
  • Experience leading high-performing multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of hyperscaler and data platform ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric)
  • Strategic thinking and advisory credibility
