Role: Software Engineer

Locations: Glasgow/Edinburgh (must be willing to travel to client sites throughout the UK on an ad hoc basis)

  • Ensure we’re delivering great engineering while keeping the big picture in mind.
  • Propose thoughtful solutions that get the job done efficiently and with low complexity.
  • Contribute to our internal and regional engineering communities.

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • You are proficient in React or Java, with several years of hands-on experience (expertise in both is not required).
  • You have hands‑on cloud experience, designing and delivering solutions on AWS and/or Azure.
  • You enjoy collaborating in an open, egoless way and are adaptable, comfortable with change, and motivated to keep learning.

Set yourself apart:

  • Proven ability to apply analytical and creative thought and translate into technical solutions.
  • Proven ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Experience with building datastore solutions on at least one No-SQL (Elasticsearch).
