As a Cyber Security Manager, you will lead cybersecurity consulting engagements for clients across the Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, and Resources sectors. You will help organisations strengthen their security posture, manage cyber risk, and deliver security transformation initiatives. Working with senior client stakeholders, Accenture account teams, and technical specialists, you will oversee project delivery, provide strategic security advice, and support business growth through client relationship management and new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client & Project Delivery
    • Lead cybersecurity projects and programmes from initiation through to delivery.
    • Build trusted relationships with clients, including senior leadership.
    • Conduct security assessments, workshops, and risk reviews.
    • Provide practical recommendations to improve security resilience and compliance.
  • Security Advisory & Technical Leadership
    • Advise clients across areas such as: Cyber Strategy; Governance, Risk & Compliance; OT Security; Security Operations; Identity & Access Management (IAM); Emerging Technologies and AI Security.
    • Support the design and implementation of security improvements.
    • Develop security frameworks, policies, and governance approaches.
  • Business Development
    • Identify opportunities within existing and new client accounts.
    • Support proposals, bids, and sales activities.
    • Contribute to the growth of Accenture's Resources Security practice.
  • Team Leadership
    • Manage, coach, and develop security consultants.
    • Share knowledge and support capability development across the team.
    • Contribute to thought leadership and industry engagement activities.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience (7 years +) in cybersecurity consulting, advisory, or programme delivery.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CAF, and NIS.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and complex projects.
  • Knowledge of one or more security domains - OT Security, Security Operations, IAM, Cyber Strategy, or Risk Management.
  • Experience contributing to business development and account growth.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Desirable

  • CISSP, CISM, GICSP, CRISC, or similar certifications.
  • Experience within Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, or Critical National Infrastructure sectors.
  • Understanding of AI-related security risks and emerging technologies.
