As a Customer Data Platform Manager, you will:
- Have extensive experience with customer data platforms for large organizations, integrating complex data sets to enhance customer understanding and marketing activation.
- Lead cross-functional teams during client projects to promote a customer-centric vision, providing guidance on data-driven decision-making, data integration, and customer experience strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee implementation and management of customer data platforms from various vendors.
- Diagnose and understand existing technologies including CRM, analytics tools, marketing platforms, and data warehouses.
- Advise on integration strategies based on client legacy systems.
- Maintain system health, troubleshoot, and update systems.
- Facilitate collection, integration, and unification of customer data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain data hygiene.
- Develop customer segmentation models and predictive analytics.
- Partner with analytics teams to leverage advanced capabilities.
- Work with marketing teams to create personalized campaigns.
- Enable real-time customer journey orchestration and personalization via CDP.
- Monitor and optimize customer engagement strategies.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, aligning CDP capabilities with business goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to customer data management.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with customer data platforms (e.g., Segment, Treasure Data, Tealium, Salesforce CDP, Adobe Experience Platform).
- Certification in CDP technologies or related tools.
- Knowledge of machine learning and predictive modeling.
- Understanding of marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations.
- Strong understanding of data integration, APIs, and database management.
- Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI) and CRM systems.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and data governance best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
