You are:
As the SAP Ecosystem Business Development Director, you are a growth focused professional responsible for developing and executing the firm's strategic relationship with SAP to accelerate market growth, joint sales, and client success. You possess a strong understanding of business development and the sales lifecycle in close collaboration with eco-system partners, including account planning, opportunity identification, relationship development, opportunity qualification, and joint go-to-market execution. You have significant experience working within the SAP ecosystem and understand SAP's partner organisation, commercial models, partner programmes, sales motions, and technology strategy.
The work:
- Drive joint sales and commercial growth by identifying co-sell opportunities, supporting account planning, pipeline management, and opportunity qualification.
- Lead Market Unit relevant joint sales campaigns, demand generation initiatives, thought leadership, and solution offerings.
- Understand and track ecosystem KPIs ensuring Accenture outperform competitors and remain SAP #1 partner of choice.
- Organise internal, partner and client-facing events centred on campaigns.
- Identify emerging SAP technologies, strategic initiatives, and ecosystem opportunities to expand the firm's market presence and client value.
- Enable internal sales, marketing, and client teams through training, communications, and guidance on SAP programmes.
- Contribute to Alliance governance, including business planning, executive reporting, performance management, and compliance.
- Define, monitor, and report Alliance performance against key metrics.
- Collaborate across Sales, Industry, Marketing, Technology, Delivery, Finance, Customer Success, and SAP teams.
- Represent the firm at executive meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), SAP events, and strategic forums.
Job Qualifications
Here’s what you need:
- Minimum of 8 years of Business Development in the professional services space.
- Channel and Ecosystem partner management experience.
- Proven ability to operate within a broad network.
- Demonstrated commitment, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
- High energy level, focus and ability to work well in demanding client environments.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Unquestionable professional integrity, credibility and character.
- High-level understanding of SAP’s enterprise solution portfolio and partner ecosystem.
Bonus points if you have:
- Previous experience in conceptualizing, planning, and implementing Transformation programmes.
- Experience working within G2000 customers.
- Experience with C-Level client relationship building.
- Ability to discuss latest technology hot-topics with VP+ clients.
- Strong understanding of SAP PartnerEdge, partner programmes, commercial models and sales processes.
- Knowledge of SAP Business AI, Business Data Cloud, S/4HANA and Line of Business solutions.
