As a CIAM Security Consultant, you will:

  • Partner with clients to design and implement secure, user-friendly CIAM solutions.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring seamless digital experiences for millions of end-users.
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, strategists, and business leaders, to deliver impactful outcomes.
  • Advise clients on industry best practices, compliance standards, and emerging trends in identity management.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new technologies (e.g. biometrics, passwordless authentication, AI-driven fraud detection) to enhance customer trust.
  • Support complex Identity & Access Management/ Digital Identity deliveries across industry groups, working with global teams.
  • Support the practice in various new initiatives across the firm, including innovation and go-to-market.

The following skills and experience are essential for this role:

  • Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts, including authentication, authorisation, federation and verified decentralised identities.
  • Experience with CIAM platforms (e.g. Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Transmit, Azure AD B2C) or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in delivering technology projects, ideally within consulting or client-facing environments.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, UK Data Protection Act) and their impact on customer identity solutions.
  • Critical thinking and advisory – diagnose and curate options to address problems to leadership.
  • Possess strong organisational skills and, where applicable, help team facilitate management and tracking of large and sometimes complex projects.

  • Demonstrated thought leadership in digital identity and security, supported by publications, speaking engagements, or community contributions.
  • Hands-on expertise in modern security practices (Zero Trust, API security, adaptive authentication) and knowledge of key frameworks (ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, NIST).
  • Certified in leading CIAM platforms (ForgeRock, Ping, Okta) with experience building custom connectors and integrating with enterprise applications.
  • Proven ability to blend technical depth (coding, cloud hosting, Active Directory, PowerBI) with strategic business acumen, delivering tailored solutions across industries.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, coupled with entrepreneurial drive and a passion for designing secure yet frictionless customer experiences.
