Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: Competitive + package (dependent on experience)
Hybrid Working: This role will require you to work from our Newcastle, Cobalt Business Park office 3 days per week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience automating functional testing of SaaS software, writing scripts in Java
- Experience in using other test tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, Rest-assured or Wiremock
- Experience working with users to design and conduct manual testing, developing a good understanding of the requirements, user needs and solution design to differentiate between defects and enhancements
- A proven track record of testing software developments in a structured environment
- A complete understanding of the defect management lifecycle and knowledge of defect management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla or HP ALM
Additional Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients across a range of industry sectors
- Proven history of working within a complex and diverse delivery environment
- Experience working in Agile (Scrum, Kanban or SAFe) environments/teams
