Management Consulting Manager – Financial Crime

Location: London / Manchester

Career Level: Manager (CL7)

Responsibilities

  • Lead client advisory on financial crime prevention and detection using policy, process, technology, data & analytics, and AI.
  • Work with the latest technologies to solve economic crime challenges.
  • Understand and solve complex business problems, presenting solutions to stakeholders.
  • Adapt to evolving financial crime threats and diverse client circumstances.
  • Support development of sales proposals and offerings, building commercial and business acumen.
  • Contribute anti‑financial crime SME knowledge to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and own client stakeholder relationships to drive sales opportunities.
  • Manage team members to develop client engagement strategies and sales pipeline practices.

Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience in a financial crime department (AML, KYC, or screening) in advisory, operational, or leadership roles.
  • Knowledge of AML regulations and regulatory guidance.
  • Experience with anti‑financial crime technologies (Actimize, Quantexa, Fenergo, Symphony AI, etc.).
  • Experience delivering or using analytics outputs to inform policy or action against financial crime.
  • Project delivery experience as lead or team member.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery methodology, including writing or contributing to user stories.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Experience presenting complex problems & solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness to support commercial engagements.
  • Ability to work across technology and business stakeholders.
