  • Job Summary

As an Energy Consultant, you will deliver successful consulting engagements to address our clients’ biggest challenges in the energy sector, focusing on value creation, transformation, cost efficiency, sustainability, data analytics, digital core transformation, and regulatory compliance.

You will solve complex business, change and technology problems, build trusted senior client relationships, support business development, and lead multidisciplinary consulting teams.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver consulting engagements that drive lasting outcomes and value.
  • Apply value case, operating model design, cost & productivity improvement, net zero transition, analytics & big data, digital core transformation and risk & regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Structure and thoroughly analyse business problems, acting and making decisions with little oversight.
  • Build and sustain senior client relationships in the C‑suite and support business development and sales initiatives.
  • Lead the creation of thought‑leadership assets and drive improved market presence in external forums.
  • Develop and manage high‑performing multidisciplinary consulting teams, mentoring others and contributing to performance management & recruitment.
  • Prioritise diversity & inclusion across teams and champion change that adds value to the business.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the energy industry, its trends, business models, and value chain (upstream, downstream, integrated gas).
  • Experience in asset integrity management, regulatory compliance and implementing industry‑standard programmes.
  • Excellent consulting and problem‑solving skills, familiar with recognised frameworks, research, quantitative analysis and executive communication techniques.
  • Proven ability to build lasting relationships with decision makers across leading organisations.
  • Comfortable bridging business and technology, with some familiarity of core industry technology platforms.
  • High intellectual capacity and innovative thinking for developing creative solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in ambiguous environments and thrive on ambiguity.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to lead large‑scale, senior meetings, workshops and presentations.
