Aerospace and Defence Management Consultant
Location: London or Manchester
Mobility: Up to 100%
Responsibilities
- Lead focused project teams across a range of A&D clients and problems
- Take ownership of framing the problem, structuring the analysis approach, and lead the execution
- Oversee multiple workstreams as part of a broader project
- Coach and develop members of the team to deliver excellence
- Structure and communicate outcomes to client management teams
- Work alongside client teams to help them implement the recommendations to deliver value
- Help develop and refine offerings and generate collateral to support sales and origination activities
- Lead client innovation and requirements workshops and use a human‑centred approach to solve problems, frame opportunities and achieve innovation through collaboration and co‑creation
Qualifications
- 5+ years client‑facing management consulting and management experience in Aerospace and Defence clients
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record, or equivalent experience. An advanced degree or MBA is a plus but not essential
- Strong functional knowledge in areas such as Supply Chain, Operational Improvement, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Sourcing and Procurement, Digital Engineering, Complex Programme Delivery, or Services
- Exceptional creative problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Team leadership and coaching experience
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, and fluency in English
- A passion for the reinvention of Aerospace & Defence with technology, AI and innovation
- Must hold or be eligible for UK security clearance (lived in the UK for the past five years with no absences greater than 30 days at a time)
