As a team, our Architecture team delivers large-scale transformations from strategy to delivery. As a Senior Manager, you will lead the design of cloud native and hybrid solutions leveraging Accenture’s extensive partner ecosystem. You will own executive relationships and be commercially accountable for shaping and leading programmes, using AI and agentic architectures to accelerate decisions and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Agentic‑first delivery – Design solutions where governed AI agents support repeatable analysis, deliver workflow, reduce toil, improve traceability, and help teams maintain focus so they can spend more time on outcomes rather than manual coordination.
  • Executive advisory – Lead CIO/CTO and security conversations, shape the value case and turn strategy into pragmatic roadmaps across public, private and hybrid cloud. Use GenAI to speed options analysis and decision packs.
  • Lead at scale – Set design direction across workstreams, run governance forums, and drive growth through origination and proposals. Embed agentic assistants into programme routines (RAID, estimation, requirements, controls evidence).
  • Design authority and governance – Own architecture decision‑making for large programmes, including review boards, guardrails, standards, and alignment to delivery, regulatory, and audit requirements.
  • Agentic and AI‑enabled architecture – Lead designs that incorporate GenAI and LLM platforms (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini or equivalent) alongside agent orchestration and tool use; design scalable AI and ML solutions aligned to business goals, integrate into existing enterprise landscapes, and embed appropriate LLMOps controls, evaluation and Responsible AI Governance.
  • Strategy, operating model and roadmaps – Translate business goals into target architectures and operating models, define pragmatic modernization plans, and steer decisions with clear trade‑offs.
  • Resilience, security and cost outcomes – Embed zero‑trust IAM, security‑by‑design, HA/DR and operational controls. Define SLOs/SLIs and bake in observability (metrics, logs, traces). Apply AIOps to reduce noise, accelerate incident triage and improve reliability, and embed FinOps to manage performance and run‑cost value at scale.
  • Lead teams and delivery excellence – Build and lead high‑performing architects and engineers, sponsor talent, and run effective governance. Use AI assistants to improve delivery cadence and decision quality, including status synthesis, action tracking, risk sensing, and day‑to‑day SDLC acceleration (requirements elaboration, ADRs, code and test support, documentation).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Executive advisory – Trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, able to communicate target‑state architecture and topology clearly and drive decisions through strong narrative, options and trade‑offs.
  • Commercial leadership – Commercially accountable for origination support, proposals and RFPs (including client presentations and proposal oral presentations), estimation, commercials, and building long‑term client relationships in partnership with alliance teams.
  • Programme and portfolio leadership (AI‑enabled) – Lead multi‑workstream transformations with strong governance, dependencies/RAID, and outcomes tracking. Use AI assistants to synthesize status, highlight risks and maintain decision logs.
  • Value and controls – Link architecture to benefits (TCO, speed‑to‑market, risk reduction) and define measurable success criteria. Automate evidence capture where appropriate to support controls and audits.
  • Architecture across cloud + AI – Strong software architecture background spanning cloud‑native, integration and GenAI/agentic patterns (e.g., RAG, orchestration, tool use), with a pragmatic approach to delivery.
  • GenAI across the SDLC – Practical use of GenAI in delivery, including requirements elaboration, ADRs (Architectural Decision Record), code and test support, documentation/runbooks and release readiness, with quality, traceability and security controls.
  • Claude skills and agentic automation – Experience designing AI‑based assistants and skills that use tools and APIs to automate repetitive delivery and governance tasks, reducing human toil while maintaining security auditability and quality gates.
  • Integration fluency across AWS/Azure/GCP/IBM (one or more) – including networking/connectivity, IAM/zero‑trust, compute/storage, HA/DR, containers/orchestration, API management, iPaaS and modern engineering patterns such as microservices, event‑driven architecture and DDD.
  • Operational excellence, observability and AIOps – Translate NFRs into pragmatic architecture decisions, define SLOs/SLIs and design modern observability (metrics, logs, traces). Apply AIOps for alert reduction, anomaly detection, incident triage and continuous improvement across hybrid and cloud platforms.
  • Advisory & communication – Simplify complexity for senior audiences; align diverse viewpoints and negotiate decisions.
  • People leadership – Demonstrated experience operating at a senior, account‑responsible consulting level. Lead leaders, coach and sponsor talent, and scale good practice through playbooks and communities of practice.

Additional desirable experience

  • Thought leadership – Build reusable assets (reference architectures, accelerators, POVs) and support go‑to‑market enablement.
  • AI‑first and agentic delivery – Embed GenAI and agent workflows (tool use, approvals, guardrails) into engineering and programme routines to automate toil‑heavy processes with appropriate governance and quality controls.
  • Talent and inclusion leadership – Build diverse teams and capability plans that improve delivery outcomes.
