Position: Ecosystem Business Development Director
You are
As the Oracle Ecosystem Business Development Director, you are a growth focused professional responsible for developing and executing the firm's strategic relationship with Oracle to accelerate market growth, joint sales, and client success.
You possess a strong understanding of business development and the sales lifecycle in close collaboration with eco‑system partners, including account planning, opportunity identification, relationship development, opportunity qualification, and joint go‑to‑market execution.
You have significant experience working within the Oracle ecosystem and understand Oracle's partner organisation, commercial models, partner programmes, sales motions, and technology strategy.
You will develop strong relationships with key Accenture stakeholders—including Client Account Leads (CALs), Industry leadership, Reinvention Partners, Sales leaders, and Growth & Strategy teams—as well as Oracle Partner Account Managers, Sales Executives, Industry teams, Product organisations, and regional Alliance leadership.
You bring together Accenture's industry expertise, Oracle capabilities, and joint offerings to identify and qualify new client opportunities, shape differentiated value propositions, and support account teams throughout the sales lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Drive joint sales and commercial growth by identifying co‑sell opportunities, supporting account planning, pipeline management, and opportunity qualification.
- Lead market‑unit relevant joint sales campaigns, demand generation initiatives, thought leadership and solution offerings, including the creation and localisation of joint value propositions and co‑branded marketing assets that drive pipeline growth and market awareness.
- Understand and track ecosystem KPIs to ensure Accenture outperforms competitors and remains Oracle’s #1 partner of choice.
- Organise internal, partner and client‑facing events centred on campaigns, and support the Alliance’s strategic objectives and demand generation.
- Identify emerging Oracle technologies, strategic initiatives and ecosystem opportunities to expand the firm’s market presence and client value.
- Enable internal sales, marketing and client teams through training, communications and guidance on Oracle programmes, co‑sell processes, partner benefits and joint value propositions.
- Contribute to Alliance governance, including business planning, executive reporting, performance management, budget oversight, partner funding, compliance and Oracle Partner Programme requirements.
- Define, monitor and report Alliance performance against key metrics including partner‑influenced revenue, originated pipeline, co‑sell opportunities, joint wins and partner investment utilisation.
- Collaborate across Sales, Industry, Marketing, Technology, Delivery, Finance, Customer Success and Oracle teams to ensure consistent execution of Alliance priorities and maximise commercial outcomes.
- Represent the firm at executive meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, Oracle events and strategic forums, strengthening executive engagement and advancing the specific campaigns and solution area long‑term partnership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of Business Development in the professional services space.
- Channel and Ecosystem partner management experience and ways of working.
- Proven ability to operate within a broad network, acting as a cross‑teams orchestrator.
- Demonstrated commitment, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
- High energy level, focus and ability to work well in demanding client environments.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.

- High‑level understanding of Oracle’s enterprise solution portfolio and partner ecosystem.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in conceptualising, planning and implementing transformation programmes.
- Experience working within G2000 customers.
- Experience with C‑Level client relationship building and relationship management.
- Ability to discuss latest technology hot‑topics "on the fly" with VP+ clients and working level technical resources.
- Strong understanding of Oracle partner tooling, partner programmes, commercial models and sales processes.
- Knowledge of Oracle AI for Fusion Applications, Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications across key business domains including HCM, SCM, EPM and CX.
