Accenture UK & Ireland is seeking a Technology Consultant to work across the UK with Energy and Utilities clients.
Role Overview
- Location: London – travel to client sites across the UK on an ad hoc basis.
- Career Level: Specialist – Consultant (Level 9).
- Minimum Experience: 3‑5 years delivery experience.

Responsibilities
- Work with the global delivery network to manage complex, large‑scale technology projects.
- Implement large‑scale Business Transformations across key UK Energy and Utilities clients, supporting end‑to‑end transformations rather than isolated technical solutions.
- Provide solutions to real‑world problems faced by Energy and Utilities clients, focusing on the most topical industry areas.
- Collaborate as part of a dynamic team to shape technology roadmaps for Accenture and clients, outlining key focus areas for strategic discussions.
- Help client business owners navigate complex subject matters by breaking down technical documentation and landscapes into manageable, digestible information.
- Advise on design, build, test, and deploy solutions that add value to clients and their ecosystems.
- Communicate effectively with peers and clients in challenging circumstances, maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Deliver high‑quality work on time and on budget, managing risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
- Execute delivery across various methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.
- Maintain knowledge of latest technology trends and apply them in day‑to‑day operations.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years' experience within the Energy or Utilities sector, demonstrating knowledge of latest trends and challenges.
- Proven implementation experience in large business transformation programs (ERP or CRM) with collaboration in large/diverse teams.
- Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Understanding of Risk, Assumption, Issue, and Dependency Management.
- Strong communication skills, with experience working with Energy or Utilities clients and global delivery teams.
- Organisational skills managing multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
- Experience line‑managing resources and project managing a team.
- Optional: Experience leading projects with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) or SaaS offerings (Salesforce), Cloud/Industry and Programme Management certifications, and a strong Technical and Emotional Quotient.
