As a Life Sciences R&D Consultant, you will:
- Work as part of focused project teams across a range of Life Sciences R&D topics, including research, clinical development, regulatory, pharmacovigilance and adjacent biotech / medtech domains
- Independently lead workstreams to assess client R&D strategies, operating models, processes and technology landscape as part of broader transformation programmes
- Gather, synthesise and analyse data from a variety of sources to draw insights and develop strategic recommendations across R&D productivity, pipeline / portfolio prioritisation, clinical trial innovation, regulatory and safety transformation, and digital / AI-enabled change
- Structure and communicate outcomes to client management teams, helping senior stakeholders make informed, evidence-based decisions
- Work alongside client teams to help implement recommendations and deliver measurable value, helping get the right therapies to patients faster
Required qualifications and attributes:
- 2-5+ years’ relevant experience focusing on R&D in the Life Sciences industry, including strategy / management consulting and/or experience within biopharma or biotech R&D organisations
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record. An advanced degree is a plus but not essential
- Strong functional knowledge in one or more of the following areas: R&D strategy and operating model; research and clinical development; pipeline / portfolio / asset strategy; regulatory, safety or pharmacovigilance; digital transformation and innovation; data, analytics and AI in R&D; patient, site and investigator experience
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Fluency in English
- An interest in technology, data and the future of Life Sciences R&D
