You will collaborate with colleagues from across Accenture in Technology, Operations and other parts of our Financial Services business to bring industry leading solutions to the largest banks and capital markets industry organisations globally.
As a Capital Markets Process Reinvention Manager (Career Level 7), you will have the following typical responsibilities:
- Drive engagement with both Accenture & Client Capital Markets operations teams to understand current state processes and recommend opportunities to simplify, automate and standardise
- Leverage modern tooling such as Work Orchestration, Process Mining and Agentic Architecture concepts to drive material uplift in workforce productivity for our clients
- Leverage innovative tooling to support with ‘time in motion’ studies of operational processes to assess levels of current state efficiency
- Successfully shape, structure, design and deliver complex consulting engagements, across diverse and demanding stakeholder groups – often within highly regulated environments and/or challenging delivery contexts
- Demonstrate exceptional client relationship skills and ability to become a trusted partner in an advisory capacity, with clear client impact. Demonstrate track record of forming deep relationships with clients across the Capital Markets / Financial Services industry.
- Lead teams of our people and support development of Accenture’s Capital Markets practice through people focused initiatives and the mentoring of more junior team members
- Develop and identify sales opportunities that are aligned with client agendas, creating value-driven sales propositions through partnering with our leaders, clients, and consultants across our practices, to take the best of our firm to our clients
- Prioritise diversity & inclusion across teams and champion change that brings added value to the business.
We are looking for the following skills & experience:
- A minimum of 5 years consulting or process optimisation experience at a recognized consulting firm or through an ‘in-house’ consulting/business development role (e.g., Group Strategy, Group Corporate Development) in the Financial Services industry
- Experience in performing process modelling using standard ‘Business Process Management’ (BPM) methodologies and leveraging process modelling and process mining tooling where appropriate
- Able to demonstrate the ability to shape, structure, design and deliver complex consulting engagements across diverse and demanding stakeholder groups – making significant client delivery impact
- An excellent understanding of the Capital Markets industry, including post-trade processes, middle and back office operations functions and technology trends in the industry
- Knowledge and a personal viewpoint on key trends in the Capital Markets industry – demonstrating an appreciation of how technology can contribute to solving clients’ complex business challenges
- Proven ability to successfully lead teams, promote diversity and develop other people to achieve business and technology outcomes
- Project and programme delivery experience; having a solid understanding of project lifecycles and phases of delivery
- Intellectual capacity and ability to think in new, innovative ways to understand complex issues and develop creative solutions. Comfortable operating within uncertain / ambiguous circumstances to lead and drive
Set yourself apart:
- Deep experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking industry, including a solid understanding of Front, Middle and Back office processes and the trade lifecycle.
- Experience with process mapping, optimisation and efficiency creation initiatives
- Understanding of the Capital Markets’ ecosystem, key industry trends, and emerging technologies – having your own perspectives on this and ability to contribute to our industry Thought Leadership
- Experience in delivering operational and technology driven change and transformation
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Analytical and dynamic thinker and great problem-solving skills
- Strong academic background, to Bachelor’s degree level or higher, or equivalent experience
