Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

Salary: Competitive + package (dependent on experience)

Hybrid Working: This role will require you to work from our Newcastle, Cobalt Business Park office for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Any offer of employment is subject to satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance which requires 5 years continuous UK address history (typically including no periods of 30 consecutive days or more spent outside of the UK) at the point of application.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • The ability to successfully and competently manage a number of critical client projects - Navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • An adaptable approach to work, with an ability to turn your hand to a number of delivery orientated tasks.
  • A deep, broad understanding of delivery approaches and best practice.
  • Understanding technical information and concepts and translating them into business/operational-focused information with the instinct to question things.
  • Being highly organised and able to plan for short, medium and long-term objectives and having experience of guiding a team to meeting those objectives.
  • Designing and implementing the measurement and reporting of metrics which help to inform delivery improvement activities.
  • Identifying ways to improve software delivery and owning the implementation of improvement activities.
  • Having a strong service-orientated attitude and a co-operative and mature approach to working with a client, in a team and as an individual.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in delivering Agile at scale and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Aware of modern delivery operating models (Dev Ops).
  • Familiar with Agile delivery tools to provide our clients with clear, concise and dynamic communications.

Set yourself apart:

  • Have Agile certifications.
  • Have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the other suite of Microsoft Office products.
  • Have extensive experience working with Agile delivery tools (e.g. JIRA).
  • Have experience working within the Health & Public Sector, with familiarity with GDS principles.
