We are looking for an experienced Power Platform Engineer who combines deep technical expertise in the Microsoft stack with a genuine curiosity for what AI‑enabled development makes possible. As part of a team of 10‑15 engineers, you will play a central role in designing and delivering high‑quality applications that meet business and technical requirements for a large‑scale digital transformation programme migrating legacy Lotus Notes applications to modern, scalable solutions on Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse.
What You'll Do
- Build & Customise
- Design, develop, and implement Power Platform solutions using Model‑Driven Apps, Dataverse, Canvas Apps, and related tools.
- Create and customise Dataverse entities, views, forms, and relationships to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain plugins, custom workflows, and PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) controls.
- Integrate and configure WebResources (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) for customised user interfaces.
- Ensure solutions are performant, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices.
- Integrate & Automate
- Build and manage Power Automate workflows for process automation and optimisation, including AI‑native capabilities such as Generative Actions and Intelligent Document Processing.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with external systems via APIs, Azure Services, and REST.
- Support data migration from Lotus Notes to Dataverse, ensuring integrity and continuity between legacy and new systems.
- Contribute to integration efforts with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and third‑party systems.
- Build with AI
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot within Power Apps and Power Automate to accelerate solution development—using natural language to create, modify, and enhance apps and flows.
- Build and configure AI‑powered agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio—including autonomous agents that execute tasks independently, generative answer capabilities grounded in Dataverse, and multi‑agent workflows.
- Utilise Dataverse AI capabilities—including Dataverse for Agents and AI‑powered business logic tools—to create intelligent, data‑driven solutions.
- Stay current with Microsoft's evolving AI roadmap across Power Platform, contributing ideas on how emerging capabilities can be applied to the programme.
- Collaborate & Govern
- Engage with business analysts, solution architects, and key stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols, governance standards, and public sector regulations.
- Apply ALM best practices, source control, environment management, and deployment pipelines via Azure DevOps.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4 years’ development experience, with at least 2.5 years on D365 / Microsoft Power Platform.
- Proven expertise in Model‑Driven Apps and Dataverse architecture, schema, and customisation.
- Strong development skills in C#, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS for plugins, custom workflows, and Web Resources.
- Solid experience with Power Automate for workflow automation and process optimisation.
- Familiarity with PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) for building reusable components.
- Experience integrating Power Platform with external systems via APIs, Azure Services, and REST.
- Strong problem‑solving skills; comfortable working in a fast‑paced Agile environment.
- Clear communicator across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
AI‑Enabled Skills (Essential)
- Hands‑on experience using Microsoft Copilot within Power Apps and Power Automate to accelerate development.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio—building agents, configuring generative answer capabilities, and creating automated workflows.
- Awareness of Dataverse's evolving AI capabilities—including Dataverse for Agents, AI‑powered business logic, and Dataverse MCP Server.
- Understanding of responsible AI principles and governance within the Power Platform ecosystem.
Desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (particularly Field Service or Customer Service) and its integration with Power Platform.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, ALM, and source control processes.
- Power Platform or Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g. PL‑400, PL‑200) are highly desirable.
- Experience with multi‑agent orchestration and agentic workflow patterns within Copilot Studio.
What Sets You Apart
We're especially interested in engineers who can point to specific examples of how AI tooling has changed the way they work—faster delivery, better test coverage, smarter debugging, cleaner architecture. You don't need to be an AI researcher; you need to be an engineer who has genuinely leaned in.
What's In It For You
At Accenture, you'll receive a competitive salary and an extensive benefits package. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed depending on the position.
