As a Capital Markets Strategy & Consulting Senior Manager you will:

Play a strategic leadership role in the Exchanges & Market Infrastructure (EMI) offering. You will be responsible for driving complex transformation programs, shaping industry-leading propositions, and deepening our relationships with key capital markets clients. You will lead with insight, foster high-performing teams, and directly contribute to the growth and differentiation of the offering and broader Capital Markets business. Typical responsibilities:

  • Lead the shaping, structuring, and end-to-end delivery of large-scale, complex consulting engagements across capital markets clients, particularly within Exchanges, Clearing Houses, and other Market Infrastructure Providers
  • Navigate demanding stakeholder environments, often with intense regulatory oversight and delivery challenges, to define and implement c-suite strategic agendas
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, building long-term strategic relationships across the Capital Markets ecosystem. You’ll demonstrate a consistent track record of delivering tangible client value and becoming an embedded partner in shaping client transformation agendas
  • Drive the growth of the EMI offering within Capital Markets, leading proposal development, identifying emerging trends in customers and the market, and aligning Accenture’s capabilities to drive the growth agenda for clients
  • Play a lead role in originating and converting new business opportunities in the EMI offering—identifying white space opportunities, shaping go-to-market strategies, and developing accelerators or methodologies. You’ll contribute significantly to the strategic direction of the practice
  • Define and deliver thought-provoking, market-relevant insights and perspectives. Represent Accenture in external forums, and contribute to the development of our intellectual capital on topics such as digital asset infrastructure, clearing & settlement modernisation, or exchange platform transformation
  • Inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams. Actively mentor and sponsor junior talent, support capability development, and innovation
  • Prioritise diversity & inclusion across teams and champion change that brings added value to the business

We are looking for the following skills & experience:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience including at least 6 years of direct consulting experience within EMI clients at a recognized consulting firm or through an ‘in-house’ consulting/business development role (e.g., Group Strategy, Group Corporate Development) in the Financial Services industry
  • Deep subject matter expertise within the EMI spectrum (e.g., Data Providers, Exchanges, Clearing Houses) with a strong grasp of financial markets, and the systems and entities that facilitate the clearing, settlement, and recording of financial transactions
  • Excellent consulting and problem-solving skills and able to demonstrate the ability to successfully shape, lead, and deliver complex consulting engagements across diverse and demanding stakeholder groups
  • A proven track record of developing deep and trusted senior client relationships across the Capital Markets / Financial Services industry. Demonstrate strong advisory capabilities, with deep experience becoming a trusted partner to senior client executives
  • Knowledge and a personal viewpoint ok key trends shaping Capital Markets and specifically in EMI
  • An excellent understanding of the Capital Markets industry, across a range of client segments, offerings, and businesses, with strong familiarity with the Exchanges & Market Infrastructure landscape – spanning trading venues, clearing houses, settlement systems, and the broader post-trade value chain
  • Proven track record in delivering major transformation programs in highly regulated, complex environments – preferably including front-to-back platform migrations, regulatory reform implementations (e.g., CSDR, DLT pilots), or post-trade automation
  • Commercially astute, with experience in sales origination, commercial structuring, and closing consulting engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead senior client relationships, shape multi-year transformation agendas, and deliver high-impact outcomes
  • Intellectual capacity and ability to think in new, innovative ways to understand complex issues and develop creative solutions. Comfortable operating within uncertain / ambiguous circumstances to lead and drive
  • Natural leadership and the ability to quickly build effective teams, establish trust-based relationships and gain valuable insights through collaboration and communication

Set yourself apart:

  • Recognized as a subject matter expert or thought leader within EMI
  • Direct experience in digital market infrastructure initiatives (e.g., tokenized assets, real-time settlement, DLT-based clearing)
  • Strong knowledge of Data & AI capabilities and how these can be applied to drive innovation and efficiency within EMI ecosystem – e.g. Generative AI and the impact this will have on the industry
  • Existing relationships with key Exchanges & Market Infrastructure stakeholders (e.g., LSEG, ICE, Euronext, Euroclear, DTCC, CCPs, Fintechs)
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder environments across multiple geographies and regulatory regimes
  • Qualifications and / or experience with key project/programme methodologies are advantageous (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum Master)
  • Strong academic background, to Bachelor’s degree level or higher, or equivalent experience; postgraduate education (e.g., MBA or MSc) desirable
