Within Accenture, the UK Insurance Strategy & Consulting team focuses on scoping and shaping large transformational engagements for leading providers across the market.

We help our Life, Pensions & Investments clients drive innovation through our deep industry experience, extensive capabilities, proven assets & market insights both in the UK and globally.

We support the full breadth of business change from defining market participation strategies, designing retail advice and distribution models, shaping and delivering digital customer journeys, and managing complex platform and technology transformations.

Responsibilities

• Invent & provide solutions to real‑world problems across our insurance clients, leveraging the latest technologies such as Gen AI.
• Build deep client relationships and bring together Accenture capabilities to create differentiated offerings.
• Deliver tangible, transformational change for clients and develop market‑relevant points of view.
• Help define industry solutions & offerings to solve client challenges and support client discussions.
• Build industry expertise and distinctive points of view to build credibility with client stakeholders.
• Own and deliver industry‑relevant projects and outputs, driving market‑relevant change.
• Participate in and contribute to diverse teams, delivering differentiated perspectives and tangible change.
• Grow and mentor junior individuals in the industry practice.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years of application of knowledge in Life Insurance/Protection, Annuities, Pensions, and Retail Investing.
• Proven track record of building and sustaining lasting relationships with senior clients.
• Expertise in digital technology and business use cases such as journey to cloud, digital sales & servicing, analytics, product/policy administration.
• Market experience in the Life, Pensions & Investments sector across various functions.
• Excellent presentation and problem‑solving skills.
• Appreciation of how technology can contribute to solving complex business problems.
• Comfort operating at the intersection of business and technology.
• Ability to thrive with ambiguity and identify opportunities through innovative thinking.
• Desired Qualities
• Passion and enthusiasm for innovating in finance.
• Comfort interacting with senior client stakeholders (C‑Suite or C‑1 level).
• Track record of shaping & delivering complex change.
• Distinctive industry point of view and compelling articulation.
