Within Accenture, the UK Insurance Strategy & Consulting team focuses on scoping and shaping large transformational engagements for leading providers across the market.
We help our Life, Pensions & Investments clients drive innovation through our deep Industry experience, extensive capabilities, proven assets & market insights both in the UK and globally.
With a strong and extensive client portfolio across Life Office, Life Insurance, Pensions and Retirement, we support the full breadth of business change from defining market participation strategies and designing retail advice and distribution models, through to shaping and delivering digital customer journeys.
Our work involves complex platform and technology transformations, including large-scale re-platforming programmes, optimising operating models and sourcing arrangements, and supporting clients through major M&A activity - covering deal strategy and diligence, as well as post-deal target operating model design and integration delivery.

As an Industry Principal Director, you will
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite executives and business leaders.
- Lead the shaping and sponsorship of complex business and technology transformation programmes from strategy through to delivery.
- Act as a senior advisor to clients, bringing insight, challenge and pragmatism to help solve complex business problems and unlock sustainable value.
- Lead major consulting engagements with accountability for delivery excellence, client satisfaction, commercial performance and profitable delivery.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and extend the value Accenture delivers across strategic accounts.
- Define and develop industry propositions, offerings and assets that address emerging client challenges and market opportunities.
- Bring together multidisciplinary teams from across Accenture to solve client challenges and deliver differentiated outcomes.
- Help shape the strategic direction and continued growth of the Insurance Strategy & Consulting practice.
- Build, mentor and sponsor consulting talent, creating an inclusive and high-performing team environment.

We are looking for an experienced consulting leader with experience in the following skills:
- Demonstrable experience leading large-scale business, operating model, customer, proposition or technology transformation programmes.
- Significant experience within Life Office, Life Insurance, Pensions, Retirement or Long-Term Savings markets.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior executive stakeholders and build credibility through expertise, insight and delivery.
- Strong strategic problem-solving capabilities and experience developing practical solutions to complex business challenges.
