As the Global HSE Industrial Hygiene Manager, you will lead Accenture's industrial hygiene programs, develop a comprehensive program, and provide technical expertise. The role supports HSE Ventures and Acquisitions, ensures compliance with local laws, identifies gaps, and implements strategies to align with international standards. You will foster a safety culture, embed AI into processes, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute and maintain the Global HSE Industrial Hygiene Program.
- Ensure compliance with local HSE laws and regulations related to industrial hygiene.
- Contribute to V&A HSE risk assessments and mitigation plans during Due Diligence and Post Merger Integration.
- Assist in the creation and continuous improvement of Accenture HSE Policies and Procedures.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions for occupational health/exposure incidents.
- Identify and develop training for employees involved in industrial hygiene activities.
- Embed artificial intelligence into industrial hygiene processes where possible.
- Contribute to global HSE tools, sites and dashboards including third-party verifiers.
- Share best practices and emerging knowledge to advance Accenture's HSE programs.
- Engage stakeholders at global and local levels to implement industrial hygiene processes and procedures.
- Manage special projects for continual improvement.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
Preferred Education and Certifications
- ISO 45001 & 14001 management system training.
- Project Management certification (PMP Preferred).
HSE Certifications
- DOLE, CRSP, CSHM, IOSH Level 3, CHMM, NEBOSH IGC, etc.
Skills
- Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional (or international equivalent).
- Experience in diverse industry operations: Oil & Gas, Data Centers, Nuclear, Manufacturing, Automation, Construction, Electrical, Maritime.
- Knowledge of IH hazards and controls: chemical, physical, biological, ergonomic, noise, radiation, thermal, ventilation.
- Regulatory knowledge of IH Standards: ILO, OEL frameworks.
- Experience with HSE and IH integration of Ventures and Acquisitions.
- Ability to perform IH risk assessments and estimate remediation costs.
- Project & program management experience (PMP, PGMP preferred).
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English, written and oral.
Work Experience
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) (or global equivalent).
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) (or global equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of OHS regulations, standards, and best practices across various industries.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Experience with HSE risk management and assessment work.
Additional Requirements
- Flexible schedule to accommodate global support.
- Limited travel may be required.
