Data & AI Manager - SAP S/4HANA in London

We are looking for a senior manager who will partner with clients to modernise legacy platforms, integrate SAP Business Data Cloud, and deliver AI‐powered solutions across finance, supply‐chain, manufacturing, sales and customer domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) with SAP S/4HANA and non‐SAP platforms, enabling seamless data sharing for AI/ML use cases.
• Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to identify, prioritise and deliver AI‐powered use cases using SAP Business AI.
• Translate complex data and AI frameworks into actionable insights for business stakeholders, driving adoption of SAP Business AI capabilities.
• Deliver client‐facing work that applies data‐management and governance solutions to optimise decision‐making and operational performance.
• Stay current with advancements in SAP BDC and Business AI, continuously evaluating and implementing new techniques to maximise business value.
• Leverage your understanding of data strategy and governance to inform strategic problem‐solving and solution design.
• Contribute to projects involving data architecture optimisation, data quality improvement, master data management and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams – data engineers, data scientists, technologists and client stakeholders – to co‐create impactful data‐driven solutions.
• Translate complex data frameworks and analytics into actionable insights and recommendations for client decision‐makers.
• Support internal capability development by advancing frameworks and best practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in data management, data governance and business analytics.
• Strong understanding of business processes and how they are impacted by data.
• Knowledge of data concepts such as master data, transactional data, data structures and data quality principles.
• Aware of database technologies including ETL, SQL, No‐SQL, Medallion architecture and data warehousing.
• Practical experience with SAP data products (SAP MDG, SAP BDC, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA Cloud).
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Certified in SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) is a preference.
• Ability to read, understand and implement new techniques in data engineering as they emerge.
• Aware of Large Language Models (LLMs) and enthusiasm for continuous learning.
• Strong verbal and written communication & data presentation skills to translate technical information for non‐technical stakeholders.
