Join Accenture’s Legal & Commercial team as a Contracting Counsel Manager, where you will play a key role in shaping and negotiating complex, high-value client deals that drive our global business. As part of our Contracting Legal Professionals (CLP) team, you will provide strategic legal and commercial guidance, helping the business navigate risk while enabling innovative technology and outsourcing solutions for clients. You’ll work on large, complex global deals, collaborate with senior leaders, and help shape innovative solutions across industries while growing your expertise in technology-enabled contracting.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, structure, negotiate and close Accenture’s complex client transactions to be most advantageous from a legal and business perspective.
- Counsel, guide, train and support junior CLPs.
- Stay abreast of developments affecting the company, its clients, and industries and synthesize the information to incorporate it into company’s transactional practices.
- Educate and advise company executives with respect to legal and risk management issues.
- Develop subject matter expertise in one or more areas that benefit Legal and/or our business.
- Participate in developing internal guidelines, toolkits, and packaged knowledge capital on various legal and business issues.
- Support, promote and implement Legal Group initiatives.
- Embrace and evolve to gain expertise in seven Contracting attributes, including becoming a pathfinder, architect, business-minded, nonconformist, inspired, relevant and technology enabled contracting professional.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified lawyer (JD or equivalent) licensed to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
- Strong experience of negotiating complex commercial or technology agreements in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
- Experience with digital, consulting, systems integration or outsourcing transactions.
- Knowledge of intellectual property and data privacy issues in commercial contracts preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
