THE WORK

Become part of the premier sales force for the Accenture Google Business Group (AGBG), bringing market‑leading Google Cloud solutions to our clients.

As a Mid‑Market Sales Engineer, you will partner with account teams and clients to shape opportunities, understand business needs, and demonstrate how Google Cloud solutions can address those needs.

You will act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales cycle, helping clients evaluate options and connect technology decisions to measurable business value.

Your role is to bridge the gap between business needs and technical possibilities.

You will develop solution concepts, lead demos, build rapid MVPs or prototypes, conduct workshops, and provide technical insights across Google Cloud technologies—including Gemini Enterprise, Data & AI, CES, Security, and Gen AI.

You will also work closely with offshore teams and subject matter experts to shape strong, feasible solutions that support client pursuits.

With all our roles, there is some in‑person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities.

  • Partner with account teams and clients to run discovery sessions, assessments, and workshops that clarify business priorities, use cases, and technical requirements.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders by providing technical guidance on Google Cloud capabilities, solution options, and recommended approaches.
  • Shape solution approaches on Google Cloud that align to client business outcomes, technical requirements, and implementation feasibility.
  • Lead product demos, technical workshops, and “art of the possible” conversations that show how Accenture and Google Cloud solutions can address client challenges.
  • Build rapid MVPs, prototypes, and proof‑of‑value assets to validate solution ideas, demonstrate feasibility, and accelerate client decision‑making.
  • Bring technical insights into proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring the proposed solution is practical, compelling, and aligned with client goals.
  • Coordinate with offshore teams and subject matter experts to shape solution inputs, validate feasibility, and support a smooth handoff to delivery teams.

  • HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Significant demonstrable experience in a hands‑on, client‑facing technology role (e. g., Cloud Engineer, Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, Technology Consultant).
  • In depth experience of deep, hands‑on experience architecting and building solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proven experience with Modernization, Data & AI, Call Center AI, Workspace, Marketing Technology, Security and/or Agentic AI solutions leveraging Google Cloud technologies.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging both technical and executive‑level stakeholders.
  • Experience leading client‑facing technical workshops, discovery sessions, demos, and solution discussions in support of sales pursuits.
  • Ability to work with cross‑functional and distributed teams, including offshore teams and subject matter experts, to support solution development and client pursuits.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (12 years).

  • Experience in technical pre‑sales, sales engineering, solution consulting, or cloud advisory roles.
  • Experience building prototypes, proof of concepts, or demo environments for client pursuits.
  • Experience supporting proposals, RFP responses, solution estimates, or statement of work development.
  • Ability to engage technical and business stakeholders in workshops, demos, and value‑focused solution discussions.
