Accenture is committed to achieving high standards of safety and security throughout the organisation. Based in our London office, the Security and Corporate Resilience Specialist reports to the UKI Security & Corporate Resilience Lead and oversees the London-focused, but able to support UK-wide Security and Business Resilience programmes. The role delivers support and guidance to employees and stakeholders in implementing policy and program requirements, and acts as service specialist for Manned Guarding and Electronic Security services in the UK, managing an annual budget in conjunction with the area lead.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for advice on UK Physical Security and Workplace Business Continuity, and escalates issues related to these workstreams.
  • Build and maintain a strong knowledge of Accenture’s changing business and its impact on teams locally and globally, applying this knowledge in the design and implementation of safety and security programmes and service offerings.
  • Ensure proactive operational management of UK Manned Guarding and Electronic Security Service to deliver demonstrable value and meet Accenture’s key objectives of improved cost, quality and service delivery for internal customers.
  • Support, deliver and maintain the programme to retain ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 certifications and support all other processes and audits in the UK and Ireland.

  • Give advice and guidance on security and business continuity matters and complete:
  • Security Risk Assessments
  • Internal and External Audits
  • Event Risk Assessments
  • Support on any active incidents
  • Provide guidance in line with Accenture’s processes and procedures for service delivery and project support.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in advising on security and incident management matters.
  • Proven experience with managing and implementing risk assessments.
  • Experience in security in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to prepare and present reports and presentations to communicate risk management/security information to relevant stakeholders.
