The predicted salary is between 50000 - 65000 £ per year.

Salary: Competitive, plus benefits. Please note: Any offer of employment is subject to satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance which requires 5 years continuous UK address history (typically including no periods of 30 consecutive days or more spent outside of the UK) at the point of application.

Opportunity to provide deep asset management and MRO domain expertise to shape business processes, operating models, and requirements, ensuring Maximo-based solutions are grounded in real-world operational needs, regulatory constraints, and industry best practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise across asset lifecycle management, maintenance, repair, and operational support.
  • Define and validate asset management processes, including work management, maintenance planning, inventory, and reliability.
  • Ensure that solutions are aligned to practical operations and industry standards.
  • Lead definition of target state asset management processes and ways of working.
  • Support requirements capture and ensure clarity of business needs.
  • Work with Solution Architects and Functional Leads to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose.
  • Ensure correct alignment of capabilities across EAM, ERP, PLM, and wider enterprise systems.
  • Define key asset data structures, critical attributes, and data standards required for effective asset management.
  • Support definition of data models aligned to real-world asset and maintenance use cases.
  • Ensure solutions support accurate asset traceability, auditability, and lifecycle performance tracking.
  • Support Functional Lead and delivery teams in validating functional designs and configurations.
  • Participate in workshops, testing, and validation to ensure business alignment.
  • Provide guidance during implementation to ensure adoption of robust, sustainable processes.
  • Engage operational, engineering, and logistics stakeholders to ensure their needs are represented.
  • Act as a trusted domain advisor across business and delivery teams.
  • Support change and adoption by ensuring solutions reflect how the business operates.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Asset Management / MRO environments.
  • Deep understanding of asset lifecycle management, maintenance strategies (preventative, corrective, predictive), work management and field service operations, inventory and spares management.
  • Experience defining and improving asset management processes and operating models.
  • Ability to translate operational needs into structured requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.

Desirable

  • Experience in Aerospace & Defence and/or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with standards such as ISO 55000 or similar asset management frameworks.
  • Exposure to EAM systems such as IBM Maximo.
  • Experience working alongside ERP, PLM, and Engineering Systems.
