Responsibilities
- Help clients use AI/ML technologies to solve business challenges.
- Design, develop, deploy and run high quality AI/ML solutions across a range of industries with varying business and organisational challenges.
- Apply the latest technology solutions from industry and academia to solve real world customer problems.
- Manage the AI/ML Computational Science practice.
- Oversee the development of use‑case and platform technology solutions to tackle critical business challenges, using both reference and emerging technologies, engineering patterns, AI Services and ML techniques.
- Formulate real‑world problems into practical, efficient and scalable solutions that leverage the full AI & ML spectrum (e.g., GenAI, CV, NLP, Simulation, LLMs, VLMs, etc.).
- Lead multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver complex solutions from inception to production and operationalisation, ensuring alignment with client needs and technical excellence.
- Provide strategic and technical leadership, shape technology roadmaps, mentor other developers and foster team growth while ensuring the correct ML & AI architecture and models are used.
- Play a pivotal role in the Accenture Data & AI community, driving thought leadership by sharing insights and experiences from cutting‑edge client projects and research initiatives.
Key Experience and Qualifications
- Experience with AI/ML platform technologies and services such as Sagemaker, Vertex, Azure ML, OpenAI, LangChain, AutoML, OCR, STT, feature stores and vector databases.
- Ability to conduct literature reviews, build proof‑of‑concepts to validate hypotheses and inform AI/ML implementation architectural patterns and best practices, including data drift detection, experimentation tracking, RAG, and deployment models.
- Designing and deploying robust, scalable, and secure cloud‑based solutions (networking, security, storage, monitoring, scaling, disaster recovery/high availability) on one or more cloud platforms.
- Software Engineering, DevSecOps, and operational excellence in AI/ML solution delivery.
- Proven ability to deliver enterprise‑scale AI/ML services that impact end‑user experiences and business outcomes.
- Certified cloud Machine Learning credentials (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty).
- Experience leading teams and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders in delivering production‑grade AI/ML solutions.
