Key Responsibilities
- Problem-solve retail clients' most challenging issues.
- Deliver outstanding work that exceeds client expectations.
- Collaborate with project teams of consultants across Accenture.
- Use cutting-edge data analytics to support data-driven insights and decisions.
- Leverage Accenture's global retail ecosystem to provide end-to-end solutions from strategy through to implementation.
- Work with leading retailers and brands across grocery, apparel, electronics, homewares and home improvement.
- Focus on retail projects, with opportunities to work across other consumer industries such as consumer goods and travel.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for project delivery or a workstream, proactively contributing to overall project approach and management.
- Proactively manage client expectations and team members.
- Coach and guide team members, ensuring high-quality output while empowering them to complete work.
- Build credibility as a client expert through effective discussions, creative solutions, and solid delivery.
- Seek knowledge of key retail industry trends and drivers—market, customers, suppliers, competitors—to enhance project delivery.
- Lead business development activities, including proposals and thought leadership, working closely with practice Managing Directors and Senior Managers.

- Commercial management of consulting engagements.
- Ability to form strong client relationships at senior levels.
- Clear, concise communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in strategy consulting or strategy/transformation work at a retailer.
- Track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget, and high ROI.
- Experience executing strategically important retail projects and translating strategy into day-to-day outcomes.
- Functional expertise in one or more of the following: customer & digital; stores; supply chain; commercial; product development; merchandising; operating model.
- Deep functional expertise in how retailers create value through technology, digital disruption, future trends, and innovation.
- Data fluency—analytical and logical thinking to solve client challenges.
- Knowledge of Agile ways of working and techniques such as Design Thinking.
- Ability to navigate challenging client situations and deliver positive resolution for both client and company.
