As an Epic Ambulatory Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end Epic Ambulatory implementations for healthcare clients. You will collaborate closely with clinical stakeholders to design, configure, and optimise ambulatory workflows, ensuring solutions are clinically effective, user‑centric, and aligned with organisational goals. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex healthcare transformation initiatives while building deep functional expertise in Epic within a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation of the Epic Ambulatory module, covering requirements gathering, system configuration, build, testing (SIT/UAT), go‑live support, and post‑implementation stabilisation.
- Work closely with clinicians and operational stakeholders to understand ambulatory workflows and translate business needs into effective Epic solutions.
- Configure and optimise Epic Ambulatory functionalities to support clinical efficiency, patient safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage defect resolution, change requests, and system enhancements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support system and user acceptance testing by developing test scripts, executing test scenarios, and resolving issues.
- Produce clear and accurate documentation for system configurations, workflows, and end‑user training materials.
- Provide go‑live and post‑go‑live support to ensure smooth transition and system adoption.
Required Qualifications
- Epic certification in the Ambulatory module.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience implementing Epic modules in a healthcare IT environment.
- Proven experience delivering full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) projects.
- Strong understanding of clinical and hospital ambulatory workflows.
- Ability to engage effectively with clinical, technical, and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple Epic implementation or optimisation projects.
- Exposure to integrated Epic modules beyond Ambulatory.
- Prior experience working in consulting or large‑scale healthcare transformation programs.
