About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Pega Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-Grade applications that ensure high system availability and performance.
This role is critical in maintaining production stability, resolving complex technical issues, and delivering scalable solutions aligned with business and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve production incidents, defects, and performance issues to meet service level agreements (SLAs), including root cause analysis and prevention of recurrence.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across APIs, web services, batch interfaces, and enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Conduct technical impact analysis for incidents, enhancements, and change requests, identifying dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy application enhancements, defect fixes, and change requests aligned with business requirements and timelines.
- Develop and enhance Pega application components including case types, workflows, data pages, integrations, decision rules, UI components, and business rules in line with Pega best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and resolve complex system issues.
- Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to Pega guardrails, coding standards, security requirements, and architecture guidelines.
- Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), production deployments, and post-implementation activities, while maintaining technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Pega application development, implementation, and production support.
- Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification.
- Strong hands-on experience with Pega Platform including case management, workflows, data pages, decision rules, integrations, UI components, reports, queue processors, job schedulers, and security configurations.
- Proven experience in production issue investigation, defect resolution, root cause analysis, impact analysis, and enhancement delivery.
- Experience troubleshooting integration issues involving REST APIs, messaging, and enterprise systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification.
- Experience with Pega Cloud (Saa S) and migration initiatives.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools such as Tracer, Clipboard, PAL, Live UI, alerts, and log analysis.
- Exposure to modern Pega platform features and capabilities.
- Understanding of SDLC, Dev Ops practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience providing technical guidance and mentoring junior team members.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ownership and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
