The Oracle HCM Consultant is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, with a focus on Core HCM, Recruiting, and Onboarding (Journeys) modules. The role involves working closely with HR and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements, design scalable solutions, and ensure successful deployment and adoption of Oracle HCM Cloud.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or support end-to-end implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud modules including: Core HCM, Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Onboarding / Journeys.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs.
- Configure Oracle HCM Cloud to meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
- Configure recruiting processes including job requisitions, approvals, candidate selection, and offers.
- Design and configure onboarding journeys, tasks, checklists, and notifications.
- Support integrations between Recruiting, Core HR, and downstream systems.
- Ensure a seamless candidate-to-employee transition.
- Support data migration using tools such as HCM Data Loader (HDL) and spreadsheets.
- Execute and support system testing (SIT, UAT) and resolve defects.
- Assist with go-live activities and post-production support.
- Work with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business users to conduct workshops and solution walkthroughs.
- Provide user training and knowledge transfer.
- Support change management and user adoption initiatives.
- Stay current with Oracle HCM Cloud quarterly releases.
- Identify opportunities to optimize HR processes and system usage.
- Provide functional guidance on new features and enhancements.
- 3–8 years of experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Core HCM and at least one of the following: Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Onboarding / Journeys.
- Experience in implementation, enhancement, or support projects.
- Strong understanding of HR and talent acquisition processes.
- Experience with Oracle HCM configuration, security concepts, and role-based access.
- Knowledge of data migration tools such as HDL.
- Familiarity with integrations and reporting is an advantage.
